The strongest in the series
Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned is the third point-and-click adventure game of the series. Most of the 3D adventure games at that particular time weren't quite appealing, from the point of view of the graphics and puzzles, but this game is well detailed and impressive in all aspects. I guess this fact makes Gabriel Knight 3 the hero when it comes to improving the image of the genre in that era. The sound is also extraordinary, and the actors did a very good job with the voice acting. The ones in the previous games are present, and Tim Curry as Gabriel is among them. The main character and his assistant have to investigate a case that involve a kidnapped baby, so the plot is creative and interesting. The missions assume fighting against paranormal creatures, like vampires. The view is from a first-person perspective, and you can move both camera and character. This feature enables the possibility of a better navigation. In consequence, you will have a perfect view upon anything you want, you can look wherever you want, due to your full freedom. The most important thing that will convince you to play Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned, is the spectacular ending, that was worth every hour of puzzle-solving.
