A colonization themed strategy game
In 1503 A.D.: The New World your goal is to colonize a new land, starting from scratch, with just a handful of colonist and a few barracks as your headquarters, and from there, you can take the game to where your entire population soars, and you can call yourself a colonist supreme. The game is set on stages, each one with its cycles. Basically though, in each cycle you will be gathering resources, building all sort of buildings and trying to evade or win the encounters with other tribes/colonies. The game has a lot of resources, 46 of them in total, but for starters you won't need all of them, as each age has its own central resources. Also, 1503 A.D.: The New World has a great lot of military units, 14 in total, though for each age, there are basically the melee units, the distance shooters and the heavy artillery . All in all, the game shares ideas with Stronghold and more so with Settlers, so if you played any of these and liked them, you will like 1503 A.D.: The New World too. Plus, graphically, the 2D maps, units and animations of this game are exceptionally well polished too.
