An EGA, Sci Fi platformer
In Aliants: The Desperate Battle for Earth you will play the role of a futuristic robot, looking to accomplish all the missions thrown at him. The game starts in the battle simulator, which is a sort of space created artificially, like in Star Trek. So, you prove yourself in there (the portion has a tutorial feel to it, mostly) and then it's all about the missions; the game is linear; finish one level and you gain access to the next. It takes some time, as the levels are packed full of enemies and puzzles as well as actual classic platforms. The levels however are all caught inside a grid system of 10x10 quarters, but the game is pretty diverse even if the building blocks are so large. Also, more than anything, Aliants: The Desperate Battle for Earth controls easily, and also, it has its own upgrade system, which is pretty cool as well. So, have it in your collection, it will definitely feel great, and will play pretty great as well, overall. So, have it in your collection, and, along with it, download Incubation: The Wilderness Missions, which has a similar gameplay build, but graphically is much more complex.
