Sun but not much fun
The original Biing! was a sort of erotic take on Theme Hospital which featured semi-realistic management elements along with Mad TV-style humor to middling effect. This follow-up changes the location by putting players in the role of a manager at a holiday resort but retains the humorous approach, the mildly saucy content and the general lack of quality. The managerial aspect has all the features you would expect from such a game, and it's your job to hire the staff, look after the catering, deal with annoying clients and all the other bits and bobs which make running a hotel a joy. You have the assistance of a German porn star who offers guidance to help you through the tricky bits, while the whole thing is told with humor and the occasional bit of light nudity (although it is very tame and shouldn't cause too much upset unless you're very easily offended. While the could have been an amusing entry into a genre usually known for being terribly serious and detailed, it all goes a bit pear-shaped pretty much from the start. Although the cartoon-style visuals are bright and appealing, with some nice character work which gives the game a sense of individuality, everything else is all a bit wobbly. The humor is forced and rather dated now but this could be forgiven if the game delivered on the managerial front. However, here too it's a disappointment. Things are just too simplistic and lacking in involvement for it to be truly enjoyable and it wont't take long to get bored. A shame really as this could have been a good one, but ultimately, it's just dull.
