Defend Taldor from the Goblin invasion
In Bloodstone: An Epic Dwarven Tale you play a mighty dwarven warrior, in a quest to put an end to the pesky invasion of the goblins. Yep, in the land of Taldor the peace and quiet loving dwarves no longer can stick to what they love most, digging up the earth for treasure, nope, the goblins are afoot and they need to be dealt with. The game plays as a top down RPG, and if you think that you recognize some of the art style and asset style, well, then you must have played Magic Candle. Not that Bloodstone: An Epic Dwarven Tale is inspired by this one, nope, Bloodstone: An Epic Dwarven Tale is a prequel to the mighty role player. Granted, this prequel is not as sprawling nor is it as tilted towards free roaming, but, nevertheless, Bloodstone is a playable, interesting and well balanced role player. Play it if you love DOS style role playing games from the same family as Ultima, the later Ultima games, and if you don't mind a bit of oldschool role playing gameplay, alright but never spectacular.
