It could have been more exciting
Bram Stoker's Dracula is a 1993 horror game where you play as a lawyer named Jonathan Harker. You will join him in his adventure to reach castle Dracula and to save the world from the madness caused by the Prince of Darkness. You will annihilate the undead creatures that are causing terror once they raise from their graves. The levels are full of obstacles, they are entertaining and offer some surprises along your way. Well, the fun aspect and other things that are supposed to be exciting are not present in a high dose, as the action and horror enthusiasts would expect to experience. Every level contains a boss to kill, and many other monsters that will try to prevent you from saving the world from the dark side. Bram Stoker's Dracula is inspired by the novel and movie, but the developers weren't very loyal regarding to this fact, because the setting and other elements don't correspond to the original sources. The sound effects are lively, but at times, they are not suitable for some scenes. The graphics are decent, having great details and the fantasy characters (monsters, and other dark creatures) are rendered very nice, offering that genuine threatening feel. So, with all these qualities mentioned, you will have a good time playing this game which is above average!
