A dramatic and magnificent war experience
Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 is a shooter game released in 2005 and published by Ubisoft, a company recognised by its innovative ideas and modern perspective brought with every virtual world created. Its developer, Gearbox, is also dedicated to use the most advanced technology in order to please all the videogame lovers. This game is the first of the Brothers in Arms series. You play the role of a sergeant named Matthew Baker, whose story is full of dramatism. As the majority of this genre, the action is based on strategy and tactics in the process of annihilating enemies. This game exposes perfectly the emotional side of the war, which will make your experience more intense and realistic. The advanced control system and the commando strategies will challenge your abilities in the battlefield in an efficient way. The fact that your comrades make your job easier and offer significant help, is a convenient one. Without them, you will literally involve in a suicidal conflict. The first thing that impressed me was the great look of the environment, a marvelous, rich and lifelike presentation of the warfield and the world itself. Like other similar games, such as Call of Duty or Medal of Honor, Brothers in Arms pays a tribute to all the brave soldiers that died in War, exposing the historical events reffered to that time. But I totally think this game is more emotional than the other two examples. Speaking of emotions, I also felt close to my squad because of the realistic conversations they have with your character, but unfortunately, the tough images of some of them killed will raise the drama. In conclusion, if you are a fan of first person tactical shooters, you will surely appreciate and enjoy this game.
