Here, kitty, kitty!
The Catz and Dogz series is a pretty extensive set of pet simulators which does pretty much what you'd expect them to, and which give potential pet owners a good opportunity to practice their skills in a safe computerized environment. This one is similar to its immediate predecessor but includes plenty of extras which make it well worth checking out if your idea of a good time is playing around with a virtual cat. There's little point to the game other than to take care of your new friend and this time around there are many more breeds to choose from, so whatever your fancy you're likely to find one which appeals to you. There are also plenty more environments in which to play with your cat as well as lots of toys and other accessories to experiment with. Strangely enough, there's also the opportunity to paint your cat a variety of whacky colors and the many individuals on offer here display distinct personalities which adds much to the game's appeal. If you are looking for a casual pet simulator which can be played while you're doing other things on your computer, then this is about as good as any to be honest. It's the sort of thing that can get frighteningly addictive if you give in to its charms but if you do stop to consider it for a moment, you'll realize that there isn't actually that much to do here and for most players, it's likely to wear thin after a little while as there simply isn't enough depth to keep you going. In the short time though, it's a fun little time waster.
