If committing a crime meant fighting crime...
In Crime Fighter you are the burglar, the one that knocks and steals, the one that allows you to live your gangster lifestyle. Thus, in Crime Fighter you are the baddie, and, within the confines of this 2D sidescrolling world that is put at your fingertips you can be as hard edged as you can! Naturally, in Crime Fighter your main goal is to create a name for yourself as this badass, hard boiled baddie, and there are lots of ways to do it. The game's logic functions as follows: each building offers you a certain amount of options. For instance, enter a shop and you can choose to burglarize it, steal the produce or just take the money with you. It's like the portion that was missing from Grand Theft Auto games, the part where you produce as much mayhem as possible, outside of your car. Anyway, the overall quality is that of a freeware title, well produced but never polished to where it's beyond reproach. But that's not to say that the game doesn't feel or work great, it actually does, and I do recommend it. Not quite the same, but still a game where you can be the bad guy, Kingpin is just as well a great game, worth playing to experience the life of the criminal. Oooh!
