Women are from Venus, men are from Mars
If you're looking for an introduction to the dubious delights of erotic Japanese interactive novels, or are a fan of Virgin Roster and Do You Like Horny Bunnies? then Critical Point is well worth dipping into. As with these other titles, it's basically a big choose-your-own-adventure experience which focuses on storyline, characters and decision making over any real gameplay. It also features a lot of graphic adult content so the easily offended should be cautious. The plot finds the world recovering from World War III, which was caused by sudden shortages of food and energy. The planet's population was reduced to a tiny percentage, but now many years later, the Earth and the Moon have come under control of four distinct organizations, with each one desiring sole rule. You take the role of a former space pilot who is sent to the Moon to investigate sabotage, but when you arrive, you find it to be populated solely by women, and who are acting very strangely. What follows is every rock dweller's fantasy, as you get to explore the mystery by talking to the various women and picking up clues to what's really happening. As you progress through the story, your decisions and actions influence its outcome and there are over twenty different endings to discover, which gives the game some hefty replay value. For newcomers and veterans alike, this is a good hentai title. The story is compelling and quite original, with plenty of twists and turns while the visuals are striking, with some nice design work. The adult elements aren't as distasteful as certain other games, so overall, this is worth a look.
