Better than the original
Dungeon Siege is a 3D Diablo like hack and slash rpg with a storyline that continues from its predecessor, Dungeon Siege. You are a mercenary in the service of the evil Dalvis but in a turn of events, you are the one that has to go and kill him. Since the past game was criticised for being too automated, the developers have changed the gameplay significantly. The new system requires players to click once for each individual attack of their selected character, but if old fans have a problem with that, they can always modify the attack to be more like the old way. Each speciality now has a unique set of skills that determines a character's particular strengths. This new game is better than the last in that it remedied the past games problems but it still has certain flaws, such as a mediocre storyline and the fact that the battles get really repetitive. But I still find this game great and worth playing because of the fantastic graphic and sound, the dark atmosphere and because it's a great game to just turn off your brain to and keep slashing and killing everything in your way. It's a great way to blow off some steam or to just have crazy, mindless fun.
