Exotic but pointless
As you might expect from the title, this isn't really a game but is instead a sort of wander around a car showroom which is filled with the sort of cars that most people only get to dream about. There is absolutely no gameplay at all here, unlike other licensed oddities as the Ford Simulator series of driving games so unless you're curious about what's going on here, it is easily skipped over. What you basically have here is an application which allows you to investigate the statistics of some highly appealing cars such as Ferraris, Lamborghinis and the like. You can get up close and personal with pretty much every aspect of the cars, from the engines to the plush interiors, and which are all represented in glorious grainy detail that reminds you how old this game is. There are several alternate views of each car while you can also study some fascinating graphs which compare acceleration, top speeds and other stats in wonderful detail. Really, unless you are a total petrolhead who doesn't have regular access to car magazines or the internet, there is absolutely no need to experience the delights of Exotic Car Showroom. Although it does exactly what it sets out to do, which is provide a pretty exhaustive set of car-based statistics, along with a few pretty pictures, there is nothing here that you can't find in better detail elsewhere. The visuals aren't spectacular, an although this is understandable given the age it doesn't help things much so at the end of the day, this is one old-school experience that isn't worth repeating.
