Perfectly playable but perfectly without personality too
Franko: The Crazy Revenge is a sidescroller beat them up, as uninspired but as perfectly playable as you could ever hope for. In it, you will control Franko, this 90s looking street punk kid (who obviously doesn't hack a knack for fashion!) who goes about kicking people in the head. Or in the torso, or in the legs, wherever he manages to kick them or the game takes you to. It's, as you'd expect, a pretty cool idea if you haven't been raised on these little adrenaline raisers, but if you have, you'll see that this one has nothing too intricate, too smart about it. It's just regular, quite fast enough boring left to righter. And, so, you should try it, but not before you see a bit of a video with it. It's terribly 90s looking, and that might attract some and that might not attract you either. At any rate, it's a capsule of beat em up, similar to Tough Guy, but less polished. As I said, perfectly playable, but without much personality. And sometimes, playable as they may be, games need a bit of personality too to be worth their salt.
