Oregon Trail on a boat!
Life at sea in the good old days of the all wooden boats was not really that easy, and, I'm pretty sure, for those that lived it, it sure wasn't glamorous. But, what it was, was challenging in such a way to allow us to look at it from the point of view of a game. If you liked or played Oregon Trail then you will be familiar with the brand of survivalism that this game too proposes. It's a text based game, where you need to get from point A to point B but along the way a lot of accidents and issues occur. How you deal with them is key to your survival and how you try and minimize the effects of these problems will tell if you emerge victorious or not. In the case of surviving on a boat, it's gonna be a question of responding to the ship threatening to sink, trying to make the most out of the provisions you have, trying to avoid escalating conflict and so on. It is a game that allows you this kind of to and fro, and for all that is worth, it sure offers you a great, well interesting and well grimace inducing experience. Give it a try, but expect to limit your graphical requirements, it's just palatable graphically, but, inside, it's a really engaging game.
