Thieving themed platformer; lots of fun!
Goody puts you in control of a not so good thief, who wants to get his hands on the money and valuables stacked in a bank. That is the premise. The game? You control your wacky robber through all sorts of 2D underground mazes, left to right, platformer style, and try to make your way around without being caught. So, if it were not for the thieving premise you would not feel as if there is anything special about this rather crude graphically, platformer. The color scheme used is not only very restrictive, but it is also a bit headache inducing, if you want to play for longer periods of time. It is not that the game looks bad, or that it sports ugly textures, it's just that, being a console port of some sort, the game had to dial down the color scheme, to the point where it barely looks palatable. So, in the end, the game manages to be ok, technically good, but not at all memorable. This can be a problem for those that want a lot from their platformers, or that might be used to modern day ones, but for retro fanatics, it is a good enough game to consider without question.
