RPG with a twist
Gorky 17 also known as "Odium" in the United States, is a RPG turn based game. The game was released in 1999 for Windows OS. The game is similar to the tactical based game series of "Heroes of Might and Magic II". It is a fairly typical RPG game, you level/power up your characters as you advance, you gain weapons and special abilities. The storyline plot involves it being set in the future year 2008 (rolling on the floor in laughter). Intelligence forces report for some reason the Russian army has destroyed one of it's "secret cities". Your team of 3 soldiers have been sent in to investigate, this apparently "deserted town" that resembles an American city used to train troops during the cold war. An interesting alternative history plot game, to the question "What would happen if the Cold War had never?" ended scenario. A great horror sci-fi storline is also interwoven into the storyline which becomes very complex and hard to follow, but keeps the game flowing. A great soundtrack to the game, makes it a game for any RPG fan.
