More space action, more exploration

Inca II: Nations of Immortality is the direct successor to Inca a space combat and exploration game, pretty interesting blend of Sci Fi, alternate history and ease of playability. However, compared to its older brother, Inca 2 is definitely much more advanced, graphically, and, more than anything, Inca II: Nations of Immortality is lots better graphically. I also feel that the added ideas that it comes with, in terms of the way it allows you to explore, while also having a main story, a revenge story, almost makes this game feel like an RPG. And when you think you have exhausted its content, you find that it also comes up with cool puzzles! Thus, it's got more gameplay than you'd think, surprising, even fresh I'd say, in some of the things that it does. So, overall, Inca II: Nations of Immortality is worth playing, if you liked the first game in the series or if you like space based game, combat oriented but with lots more to offer. Plus, it's got delightful videos, sprinkled about, which is really cool, if you like that rough production value of the oldies.

A very cool action adventure game

Inca 2 is the sequel to Inca and is is better than the original in a lot of different way. For those unfamiliar with the game, it is a hybrid of a space combat sci fi game and a point and click adventure game. You have set up an Inca like empire in space in the first part of the game and now you have to defend it against Aguirra, a pirate that is pledged to make all your plans turn to dust. The game has successfully dropped all the irritating parts from the first game and implemented a few very cool features, such as very nice video sequences that feature live actors who have done their job pretty good. There is a decent amount of both action and adventure, so players of both genre will be more than satisfied. The puzzles are difficult and very interesting. The graphics are nice and detailed enough, and the video sequences are enviable, since we're talking about the early nineties here. Inca 2 is a very fun and adventurous game with a cool surreal atmosphere that will make you like it within minutes into gameplay. Highly recommended!
