A version of the English Catch the Pig card game
The original Catch the Pig is a Thai game, a nice parlor card game which requires, much like Bridge, both strategy, a relatively good memory or attentive planning. You play the game against the AI, delivered in a few characters, all at a certain age and at a certain skill. The game, graphically is alright, without being too carefully designed. The backgrounds and the decks of cards can be chosen from a number of different versions, and they are clear and clean in 2D. You could play the game in multiplayer mode, but this one was designed under the TCP/IP configuration, which, while still functional a protocol, is less likely to be in use much today. Along with the actual game, you don't get a full on tutorial, to teach you the basics of the game, but you can read the manual and you will get a good idea of how to play it. Plus, the AI, given the game's complexity, does a good job of offering you a decent adversary to play against, and to learn from. So, give it a try, if you wanted to see what this card game was all about.
