Be the villain in this fantasy interactive fiction
Ever wondered what goes through the head of an orc?! And no, I don't mean it in the sense where he's two seconds away from having his hair impaled, nope, I mean in the sense of exploring an orc's inner workings! Nope, Tolkien didn't do it, but in Knight Orc, a nice, well written, with comical overtones interactive fiction game did. And if you accept the challenge, you too will be transported into its world. And, boy, believe you me, it sure is a nice piece of writing. You, the puny (alright, not that puny!) orc stand to gain a place at the table of the human champions, but you have to make the right choices each step. It's not as easy as it might sound. People in the kingdom don't like orcs by default, and so you'll have to work at showing what you're made of. The interior dialogues that Grindleguts has (the orc hero/antihero) are quite endearing at times, which makes for a lighthearted read, even if, in truth, the game tackles ideas quite serious, such as racial discrimination and corruption. So, definitely worth it. Also, in the same vein, if you want to inhabit a gnome, also download Gnome Ranger, which, as the name suggests, is about gnomes trying to make it out of the woods.
