3 quests to complete to be an immortal!
Kobayashi Naru is a sort of action adventure game, but it also has its RPG portion, especially at the story level. So, you are a mere mortal but one day are given the chance to rid yourself of your mortality; you can go on and become an immortal and to get it done what you have to do is complete three quests. Each one is action oriented, but it also feels like a sort of puzzle/mini adventure episode. So, the game looks alright too, a bit hinged on the Japanese style, but mainly European in terms of details. The animations look alright, basic but with enough frames that they don't look like jagged ones. At any rate, once you get into the puzzles/action, the rather poor/budget looks of the game won't bother you so much. You just get into the groove and you go and try to make the most of the task at hand. And, for the most part, it's interesting. A similar sort of game, in terms of the building blocks and the type of gameplay offered to you is achieved by the game B.A.T. II - The Koshan Conspiracy only that this one was released much later, and so the graphics are much more improved. Still, the gameplay on offer is just great, with the RPG build and the action gist of it all.
