Buggy, unoriginal Golden Box like RPG
Legend of Valour just rehashes the recipe that made the Golden Box games, set in the Forgotten Realms universe stand out: A central character, a hero, looking to save the day, while at the same time being enticed by loot, by the promise of better equipment and of a better, more thorough party will keep you going. While the game runs a proprietary engine, you will be offered the same boxed world view, with lots of squares and lots of repetitive dungeons, while at the same time, you will be able to take the character to outside areas, though these are rather just as poor graphically, repetitive and unlikely to make you think twice about them. The game also has some bugs, some of them quite nasty. One such instance has to do with your character being able to get through walls, but not back out of them, forcing you to load an older save game. Anyway, with nothing too special to talk about, story, fighting, designs of the levels, it is quite hard to recommend this one. Most of the Golden Box RPGs make better contenders to this one, so rather go for these ones instead.
