Interactive puzzles in the form of short stories, text based
I love the humor that this game is ripe with! The way it is delivered, the game is like a set of short stories. These mini stories put the protagonists of the game, two brothers taking care of a farm, into focus, and also, in a lot of trouble, out of which you have to take them out of. They're like a British bunch of Stanley and Ollie on a farm, and while that might not seem ripe with possibilities, you'll find out that it actually is! The game is your classic Infocom text adventure, with the puzzles requiring you to command the two at times, other times to get into combination of items, or picking up objects, you know the classic kind of adventure interactions. The game's episodic like structure is great, as it never gets boring. There's always some other hurdle to overcome and some other crazy situation to look forward to. So, yeah, I would argue, with Nord and Bert Couldn't Make Head or Tail of It Infocom was at its peak, at least in terms of funny text based adventuring. Play it if you love that Infocom text based kind of flavor, this time with the cutest farm brothers you've ever encountered!
