Logic infused set of minigames
PC-Sherlock: A Game of Logic & Deduction is a nice digital board game with a few different modes of play. It puts you in the shoes of none other than Sherlock Holmes and asks you to solve each board by paying attention, crunching numbers in your head and seeing the logical thread in the way the tiles and numbers are arranged. The game can become quite intense and energy draining, especially if you commit to using no external aids, such as calculators or any other means of finding out how to simplify the game. But, even if the challenge on each board can be escalating in difficulty, the game is nonetheless fair. You will have to manage more than just one type of game, but all of them focus on a 2 storied slate. Mostly one of these will contain the clues, clues scattered in the way the tiles and their symbols are arranged, and, the other one, the playing field will contain the tiles you need to manipulate. The game will remind you of many different tile arranging games, and so, as alternatives you might want to try Scrabble or even Puzzle Pits. Truth be told, I found the game a bit too difficult and fastidious but more invested board game/puzzler lovers might find this game a lot more interesting to get into.
