The Plan 9 From Outer Space of games?
If proof were needed that pretty much all 'adult' themed games are absolute tosh, then along comes Rhiana Rouge. Although not quite as bad and childish as Erotica Island and Wet Attack, this interactive adventure is still pretty shoddy but at least contains some unintentional humor and is possibly worth playing if you like awful games. The story finds you in control of Rhiana, who starts out as a timid secretary but who gets fired by her dodgy boss. Somehow, she then ends up being transported into a magical dimension where she must locate three mysterious crystals in order to defeat an evil overlord, while also discovering things about herself along the way. The game is basically one of those interactive adventures with lots of poor live-action work, featuring ropey acting, laughable dialogue and hammy monsters. There are the usual Myst-style puzzles to solve along with some conversation-based ones too, where you have to choose between various emotionally-charged options in order to progress. Make poor choices and you get to see your character die in various unfortunate ways. Riana Rouge is far from being a good adventure, so if do play it, don't expect to be getting a real gaming experience. However, like Plan 9 From Outer Space, it has a kind of goofy charm that makes you like it even though you know it's awful. The acting is terrible, the script pure hokum and the sets bargain basement stuff that wouldn't look out of place in a 1950s B-movie, but you still walk out of it with a twisted smile on your face. A game which has to be experienced to be believed.
