Oldschool RPG, a story that will bind you!
Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator is a classic action based RPG, but it also features a great, well told, well paced story. It's the kind of game that you really have to make time for, not your casual clikc fest, but a game where careful planning and consideration must be put into. Also, for a game relatively old like this one, it still looks amazing, the kind of experience that has a lot of original portions, even if it does reuse part of them. As a negative, I'd say the need for long playthroughs and, well, the roaster of bugs can take you out but, if you place your saves the right way you can avoid getting yourself and your party into endgame bugs. At any rate, along with Baldur's Gate 2 it's one of the old players of combat heavy RPG, it's a must play, or at the very least a must try, to see how it binds to you. I found it delightful, to say the least, and also a looong game! make sure you make time for it when you're having some spare time on your hands. Otherwise, say goodbye to outdoors activities!
