Sidescroller and puzzler with a robotic arachnid!
Have you ever dreamed of being a metal spider? Climb walls, be extra heavy and extra action oriented, but also, a smart arachnid, the kind that can solve any current issues with a bit of a smart think job? No? Well, you must be lying, especially if you loved the spider crawling bits in Metroid, if you've played any of the Metroid games. If not, maybe it is time to do it. Spiderbot is mostly a sidescroller game, with lots of arachnid based portions, where you will crawl up on vegetation, jump on platforms and so on. But, at times, to overcome obstacles, you'll have to put your mind to work, and solve rather simple puzzles, that, however, require a bit of thinking, both in creative ways as well as in playing moves ahead in your head. So, that is what Spiderbot has to offer, interesting sidescroller platformer bits with action and puzzles. It's none too luscious graphically, more like an 8 bit game rather than anything else. But, for all intents and purposes it is a good enough game. That, as a plus, shoots radioactive webs. Now, that's a superpower, Spiderman, so do learn a lesson!
