Trekkie heaven
Fans of the original series of Star Trek will be in heaven with this fantastic slice of geek fun. It stands as a nice companion piece to the similarly titled Star Trek TNG: The Trivia Game so if you've picked up that one (and have a hankering for proper old-school Trek goodness, then this should be next on your list of quiz-style games. If you haven't played the aforementioned title and are curious about this one, you can pretty much guess exactly what's on offer here from the title. The game basically consists of a pretty extensive range of questions based around the exploits of Captain Kirk and his star faring chums. The questions available are multiple choice but don't let that fool you into thinking you're in for an easy time as the kind of things you will come up against range from the mildly challenging to the mind bogglingly obscure. If you're going to play this with the intention of showing off your knowledge of the Trek universe to your equally geeksome buddies, then you'd better make sure you've done your homework beforehand as otherwise you're going to look like a bit of a chump. In terms of presentation, this is nothing special and merely consists of the questions themselves written out with the answers accompanying them. It's simply a matter of choosing the right one and hoping you've nailed it so you can move on to the next one. There's a great range of questions on offer, with everything from aliens, to episode titles, places and characters all popping up along the way. Really, if you are a Trek fan, this needs to be played.
