Simply another Star Wars game
Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire, is the sequel to Star Wars: Rebel Assault. The game being one of many, many Star Wars games, it is a fairly average game. It is a far better game however, than it's predecessor. The cinematic cut scenes are fairly B-grade acting, but the scenes stick to the original plot and use props that appear to be straight from the movie. This game is nothing in comparison to the gameplay of Lucas Arts Jedi Knight games. The music is classic Star Wars themes played over and over again, which I guess is not surprising. The gameplay is fairly aweful, you have little control over when you are flying your ship and will crash and die a lot. The graphics are good and it is much better than the first game, however I would say it would be for fans of the Star Wars Trilogy only. The game does have a little bit of that feel that, it is a hidden chapter in the trilogy of movies, add that with some nostalgia of the 90's and it may be a game you want to relive.
