WWII wargame; Battle of the Bulge centered
Western Front: The Liberation of Europe 1944-1945 is a wargame based on the Second World War real life events. This one focuses mainly on the Battle of the Bulge, which is one of its main campaigns, but it also contains the Overlord operation as well as a few others. It's an easy to control game, released in 91, available to control via mouse, and with a large swatch of the map you're playing within. That is so because Western Front: The Liberation of Europe 1944-1945 offers you a really well done interface, built to last, and always exciting. It mainly uses two colors for the maps, and a third for the units, but it's easily readable. Also, compared to a game such as Second Front, it's got a much more thorough economic portion built in, and so, it's a much better realized game, much more realistic, plus, as I said above, lots more easily controllable. Still for wargamers mainly, but it can entice non wargamers too, as its historic accuracy can get to WWII historian enthusiasts too, and for any otehr armchair enthusiasts that love a bit of a thinking game.
