Cartoony adventure with an evil genius protagonist
I don't even know how I missed this one back in the day. Woodruff and the Schnibble of Azimuth is a great cartoony game with a really wacky protagonist. You are going to have time at every intersection in the game, as the world depicted is crisp though it has the convoluted and animated feel of old Hanna Barbera cartoons. The game also sports easy but at times really daring puzzles, which will test your imagination, resourcefulness, but will also ask of you to think outside the box. Thus, you are never going to feel bored, as the game always pits at least 2 puzzles at you, which you can at times tackle as you see fit, and in your own time. On the plus side, the story, wacky as it is, is well written, with cool, though sparse dialogues, which will put a definitive smile on your face. Whether you catch the 90s pop references and innuendos, you are going to be entertained. So, if you are a fan of adventures, this is a good game to try: don't make my mistake and pass it by, as it sure is lots of fun!
