X-Men: The Ravages of Apocalypse is a first-person shooter game developed in 1997 by Zero Gravity Entertainment, a high quality videogame company that concentrates its efforts in designing innovative animations for worldwide players. The areas of expertise also include: development of new concepts, sounds, music, 2D or 3D creations, storywriting and many more. I think that this highly skilled team avoided putting these qualities in this game, because it didn't impressed me at all, especially when I had high expectations from it. I am a fan of X-Men but The Ravages of Apocalypse didn't offered me that adrenaline and vibe that comics and movies gave me, for example. The main reason I hated this game was that I didn't have the chance to play as X-Men, and because this wasn't enough, I was given the objective to shoot Wolverine! Why?! I didn't want to do this at all cause I liked this fabulous character! Anyway, killing Wolverine require a big amount of ammunition, so it isn't so easy. X-Men: The Ravages of Apocalypse uses the Quake engine. I didn't see anything special at the graphics nor at the sounds, but I will leave it to your appreciation. If you download this game and you finish it, you will surely not think of playing it again sometime. I will give it a 2 out of 5 stars, only because it is named X-Men.
