Isometric adventure/platformer, quite nice
In Treasure Trap you are basically attempting to escape/find your way out of the current isometric room, but not before you've looted it for whatever it might be holding! It's a game in that same spirit as Cadaver which, for me, is a great treat. That is because you have visual access to a relatively large portion of a room at any time, which makes it easier to coordinate and find out what the traps/what the challenges are. Controls and graphics wise the game is well polished. The controls may take a second to sink in with you, but they're very simple; it might just be you need a bit of time to accommodate yourself to the perspective. But after you've done so, the game feels natural. In terms of puzzles they are basically based on finding the right key or pressing the levers at the right time and a few more that might raise the complexity bar just a bit more, but nothing to be weary of. The story is a bit lacking but that won't impede you on way or form, so do try it, especially if you have an appreciation for that 45 degree perfect isometric angle!
