Be a heavy duty turret infantry man! Shoot the paratroopers!
Ack-Ack Attack is a simple shooter game; there are paratroopers slowly descending from the air, soaring attached to their parachutes, and you, on the ground, centered in the lower portion of the screen, whose task is simple and yet quite hard to execute after a while: shoot the paratroopers in mid air! The game is delivered in 2d, sidescroller third person perspective, but you are fixed, as I said, mounting a fixed gun. As the levels go on, the paratroopers both increase their speed of descent and also, some of them, will have the ability to shoot back at you, which can be quite an unfortunate experience overall. It's not a too graphically rewarding game; the backgrounds are either black or have some military digitized picture attached to them. It looks like a freeware era ZX Spectrum game, and it is basic in some other areas as well. But, if you crave but to shoot, like in a Space Invaders clone, then I'm pretty sure you're going to like it quite a bit, even in spite of its very simple nature.
