The minimalist adventures of a sidescrolling nitwit!
In Aldo's Adventures you will be tasked with directing this little stick man (bit too fat, and a bit too closely resembling Mario, to be your perfectly average stick man, but bare with me!) whose job is to get from point A to point B in the levels, while collecting as many of the tokens sprinkled around as possible, while also trying to stay as far away as possible from any of the enemies in there. Very minimalist graphics, for the most part only white backgrounds and a color scheme that is alright on the eyes. The music? Well, if bips of different lengths and heights are your thing, you're gonna be satisfied. The game feels like a prototypical (if there was any more clutter to get rid of, hehe!) Bubble Bobble but a bit more original still, even if not as well produced, with as think a set of lines. But, nonetheless, there is fun to be had with this one, all you have to do is to crave a bit of ladder climbing action and also a good amount of sidescroller simplicity. Of these two Aldo's Adventures offers lots!
