Bland and technically broken arcader
Oh, boy, this game's most amazing thing is how incapable and slow Spidey can be! Actually no, scrape that, what's even more amazing is that the game was shipped in such a bad condition, clearly unfinished, as an early prototype like version. Spiderman's animations look absolutely broken, worth a good laugh at the most, as he's squirming and tackling the different scenarios while maintaining the most ridiculous poses, rotating in mid air and crouching like an old man would. Oh, and when you see him jump, it's as if a ball pen has been pressed on the cap while on a table, for a few centimeters. The game takes place in one screen at a time locations, with the goal being to evade the enemies and to get to a certain point, generally to be found high up. But Spiderman walks so slowly, and is so rigid that you'll either fall asleep or just get impatient from all the waiting. Plus, the lack of detail in these environments is also so very unreasonable. My best guess is that the game wasn't ever finished, actually, that it was shipped in an early beta version. It's a laugh out loud, lousy arcader, not worth a second glance unless just for a few laughs. But, certainly, if you want something entertaining for real, stay away from this one.
