Remake of the olde faithful ZX Spectrum strategy
I must have missed this one during my Spectrum days, but after a bit of research I found out that Captain Fizz meets the Blaster-Trons was quite a popular title, especially for the Brits, in the early days. Sure enough, it didn't look as palatable on the ZX, but that's no reason to avoid this 2002 remake. This one keeps the top down perspective but enhanced everything else, from the way the mazes look to the controls to the statistics and the information displayed on screen. A heavy game, all things considered, I can only imagine how hard it was to be produced on the measly ZX, because elt me tell you, this is a serious arcade styled tactical game, and not a lite one either. At any rate, it's also got an action portion and you won't need a lot to learn how to play, after which, I'm pretty sure you'll love it. It's the kind of game that deserves a try, if, say, you like Commando Enhanced or similar experiences. And, as I said, it's a total departure from the ZX version which was surely not as immediately playable.
