Cooperative arcade shooter
In Cyberdogs 2, as in the first game of the series what you will be doing is shooting, from a top down perspective, in a world that is quite blocky, quite minimalistic but not without its appeal. The game also makes it easier for friends to play, as the game contains a coop mode, which just makes the game more of a social kind of deal, which is always great, especially with these late coming, 8 bit retro wonders. At any rate, you'll fall in love with it if you appreciate a game that packs a lot of diversity without going too flamboyant; the maximum amount of colors and shades on screen at any given time will be quite restricted, as will the number of edges you'll see. The blocky kind of esthetic works great for it, and I sure enjoyed taking the game for a spin. Any problems? No, not unless you count the lack of a story as being a problem. I for once haven't really considered it an issue, but some people might view it differently. Anyway, for a one single man development studio, Cyberdogs 2 makes a good impression and is sure to entice a very specific kind of top down shooter player.
