Resist the space invaders!
In Galactic Battle you have to shoot and put an end to the 11 different space invading space opponents, which, for the most part, have been arranged in such a way to go from easy to harder. These 11 waves of invaders, once defeated will reload, so the actual game will play in a loop, but every time more difficult, and with more speed. You control a top down forward scrolling ship, which commands easily, and also moves pretty swiftly. It can be upgraded, by collecting the one-ups scattered in space. You play to gain as big a score as possible, but also to collect medals. From time to time you will encounter a star base, where you can refill your ship and gain more energy, which depletes during normal combat. Of course there are also boss encounters. Graphically, Galactic Battle is a top down 2D game, with a lot of black backgrounds and alright looking enemies and pseudo 3D space star bases. Download it with Sidearms, a similar space shooter with lots of content and alright quality throughout.
