Early days speedboat arcader
In Heat Wave: Offshore Superboat Racing you get to like your dream of speed boating metal to the pedal, however, you will have to acquaint yourself to this very restrictive graphical set of assets. Nope, Heat Wave: Offshore Superboat Racing is not a modern, full of detail game, it is a top down, pretty unglamorous experience, that will mostly remind you of the olden days simulator games. One color block is the strip of water you ride on, the other one is the sky, and you, from inside your boat speed through! That's all one needed back in the day, and you'll have to get used to this sparsity of elements! But, when all is said and done, after you get how the game works, you will find that it can actually be quite fun, for a few minutes or more. There are a few circuits (and by circuits I mean the different patterns of buoys that you will be speeding through) to go about and a few different boats, that only differ only so slightly in feel. But, if you like oldie sims this one is one of them, relatively good and well playable.
