Arcade sidescroller; you have to play smart!
Iskib is a sidescroller game, very simple, very arcade in style, in which you have to control your character left to right speed of movement and decide when he has to jump and shoot. It's like Moon Patrol to a point, but there you controlled a Moon Buggy; here instead, you control an individual, and, in order for him to survive, you have to shoot fast, make sure you speed up or down, depending on where you want to go, how much you want to jump (and to avoid certain projectiles). Graphically, it's pretty barebones, with a monochrome surface on which you're moving and an intense blue sky. Other than that, Iskib has no other extra elements, but it still looks pretty cool. You get more than one gun/one type of fire, so later on, alternating your fire modes will also be important, to preserve your more powerful bullets. Could have fit an arcade parlor, without issues, and so, for lovers of pure arcade action, this one is a great game. Download it, it's well produced, though not a game you will play for long periods of time.
