Sierra adventure in dystopian future
This game is a graphic adventure in which you will play as a feared man hunter, an individual who is ruthless and a bit of a psychopath. The game world is an interesting future dystopia in which the state has to use the services of violent men. Thus, the character you will be playing as will have to join an underground cult to try to form an opposition. However, and this is where the game takes an interesting turn, things are not what they seem to be, and there will be a plot twist to keep you going, which you might or might not expect. Don't expect a graphic bonanza, but also, don't freak out either. This game looks its age. Having been released in 1998 it's not what you might call an eye candy type of game, but, it doesn't look half bad either. What might prove a little obnoxious is the color scheme which uses only 256 colors, so there will be a bit of clashing of colors in some of the screen, but nothing to cry over. Certainly, games as Zak McKracken didn't look much better, and it still managed to become a classic of the era, so if you're a fan of the genre it won't matter that much. What this game excels at is telling a cool mature story and it might even ensnare you to care for its world and its protagonist. And this is what it does best, while the graphics will be just a minor inconvenience.
