Galaxian... on speed boosting kerosene!
Mega Phoenix is an update on the ultra classic vertical shooter that was Galaxian. You know the drill, you are a bird of prey in the vast dark space, and, for some reason, in its infinity, you've chosen to pick just the most intensely populated with baddies strip of the space! Thus, you will shoot and shoot and dodge and shoot some more, add some upgrades to your armor and to your shooting arsenal, if you're lucky to have some hurling down your way. Oh, and when you get shot and lose all of it, especially on the later levels, boy, lemme tell you, you're going to have a hard time keeping up! Well, particular to this one game is the fact that it's much more colorful, not quite HD but sort of an 8bit/16bit reboot, with speedier and more varied enemies and more levels. Highly playable, no quirks, no issues, just a great game, ready to be played when you want it. Also, a cool thing about it is that you can record your high scores, if you care for these and try to compete against yourself later on. Have it installed, and I'm sure you're going to get to it, sooner or later, it's worth it!
