Monty in 16 bit graphics, sidescroller adventure
It's a fun game Monty Python's Flying Circus, not very long lived, not the most original, but snarky and fun. It is a sidescroller action adventure game, the kind that you'll fall in love with immediately, and that will certainly keep you entertained for a good amount of time, but, unfortunately, what it does is it uses a lot of its content over and over again. Sure, it has some cool enemies (the walking shrubs are cool!) but they get used and reused a lot. It's mostly the snarky narration bits that get thrown at you that will mostly feel the best, but otherwise, the game feels kind of empty. So, yeah, it's clean graphically, unclean story wise (hehe) a bit repetitive, but the story bits will keep you going. Surely could have been a smarter game, but, as it is, it's playable to a sufficient amount. Alternatively, see Monty Python's Complete Waste of Time, which is quite fun and has some racy bits here and there, plus a more Montyesque story than Flying Circus. Though, more Monty than all of them, a look at House of Horrors will yield more unintentional humor than all of these ones combined!
