All aboard!
If you don't want to get into the complexities of managing your own theme park, so Sim Theme Park and Rollercoaster Tycoon are out of the question, but you do enjoy riding around on simulated roller coasters, then this is the game for you. It's a bit of a niche product and is not going to be for everyone but if you do enjoy this sort of thing, then take a look here. As you might expect from the title, the focus here is on allowing you to ride around simulated real-world roller coasters in the safety of your own home and without all that tedious queuing up. Alongside riding the pre-existing coasters, you can also design your own with the intuitive editor and which allow you to tinker around with things like the weather. You can also import tracks from the original Roller Coaster Tycoon. When riding on the coasters, you can switch the view around and can even have multiple cars running at the same time while also playing as the dispatcher who controls how they run, if such a thing appeals. There really isn't a lot of depth to this game and don't expect anything other than what it says on the tin. However, if you go in knowing this and are still playing, then you're likely to get your money's worth. The editor is pretty simple to use but offers enough variety to keep you challenged and playing for a while, while the actual riding sections are also surprisingly fun if you're not into that whole interaction thing. The visuals are fine so overall, if riding digital coasters is your bag, then check this out.
