What word is the PC thinking of?!
Le Jeu du Pendu is a French computer game, a version of What's the word? So, the idea is simple, the computer randomly selects a word, out of a vocabulary of about 5500; you have to guess it, letter by letter, but it's not just you against the PC; you can play against the AI, which can simulate other 4 players, or you can take turns and play the game against real people, against your friends. The game is also a sort of Hangman, though not quite, because the strategy is to allow the other players to select as many letters of the word as possible, get the word to show itself as much as possible, and you should be the one that finishes it, the one that gets to complete it and take the points for it. Yep, it takes a while to get it done, and it can be tricky at times, but it's definitely worth looking into it. So, for the most part, Jeu du Pendu is fun, but you have to know level of French. If you don't, well, it's just pointless. So, make sure you are at least a semi proficient French speaker or student, and this game will offer you a good run for your time, else stick to yer olde Hangman in English video game!
