Tactical, squad based FPS, serious and satisfying
If you were looking for a team based shooter, one that really puts some effort into creating an over the top tactical experience while not burdening you with a difficult to control set of squad controls, then SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle: Elite Edition can definitely be the answer! Similar to Rainbow Six games but, I would endeavor to say, even more elaborately, SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle: Elite Edition gives you all you could ask for in order to create the perfect storm of shooter, tactical bits that are easy to control and enough diversity in terms of levels that you will not feel like you are not given the space to use all of these tools. The AI is also really smart this time, so you will really have to put in the effort to arrange your team satisfyingly so that you will use every advantage to terminate the adversarial forces. Nope, just telling your team mates to stay in one corner of the map while you go chasing the bad guys no longer i a choice that is palatable, and, plus, your team members will not just stay there like idiots if they are fired upon, they will actually share some smarts with the AI of the opponents. Therefore, SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle: Elite Edition is a great tactics shooter, really good looking, varied and well crafted. Absolutely worth playing.
