The kind of game you dont expect from Disney
Okay, at the surface The Rocketeer is a simple action/racing game with a bit of storytelling put in there just for good measure. However, the art style is very edgy and very unmistakably inspired by the kind of art that was considered modern at the time. Thus, this game is very different than many others in so many ways, and so, you will really have a weird experience, one that is at the least more interesting than most other games of this genre. Gameplay wise you will be doing two main activities, on one had you will be racing and on the other you will be directing your characters as in a regular action game, as in a platformer. This combination works great for the game because you never get tired of it. When you're done with a racing stage it's down to the action bit. Again, for those that thought Disney was only in the business of games for kids, colorful and not too deep, this is a different experience, and one that really is unique for the studio. Alternatively, see one of the GTA games for the same kind of racing and on foot combination of activities.
