Sequel to Total Soccer; still not an extraordinary soccer game
Total Soccer 2000 is a forgettable, (almost!) playable build of soccer, action soccer gameplay; it's hard to pinpoint what is it's failing, because it's death by a thousand pricks and bumps with this one; it never really got to the point where it had all the elements that it needed to produce really interesting and well playable results, but it had all the elements that were required, in principle, to give you all that you might have wanted. So, the controls are simple; you control one player at a time. They move a bit chaotically and the animations are just alright. But, because the order in which the next player is at the ball at any time shifts, Total Soccer 2000 just gives you pause, too many times; in the offensive, the AI players don't really play a game that is soccer like; they are a bit too mechanical; on the defense, their actions are unpredictable too many times, and yet again not it a good, boy, these guys can play way, the AI kind of just cheats and you can't do anything about it! So, I dunno, I can't say that you'll be able to enjoy this one; it's flawed in many ways, but never so flawed that it is unplayable, it's flawed in ways that just make it unfun. So, just download Total Soccer, which even if older, is still more fun to sink into!
