Top down action and adventure game, well produced
In Crack Down you will play as the coordinator of this team of special service guys, whose mission is to locate and terminate the evil Mr. K, as well as his invention, the Artificial Life System. That's the premise, and to get to the end and confront K. you'll have quite a bit of work to do. The game plays as your regular top down shooter. However, rather than being one of those not too involving games, this one offers you quite a few options. You can (and at times need to ) play stealthily, other times you need to look at the game from a puzzler kind of perspective. However, there is a lot of action as well, classic, shoot the baddies, stay out of the way of bullets an all that. So, yeah, this is how the game plays, and for the most part it's a very enjoyable experience. That's also aided by the fact that the game looks great, with quality graphics, well designed levels and a map that can be used at any time to see where you are in the rather large levels. It's like a toned down, closer to ground Syndicate, which works just great, which is why I wholeheartedly recommend it.
