Hilarious and creative
Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist is a puzzle-solving adventure game set in the an Old West era. It was released in 1993 by Sierra On-Line, that became Sierra Entertainment, a respected company for its true graphical adventure games. The actions takes place in California, which was the home of Sierra On-Line's headquarters. Freddy Pharkas is a pharmacist that has to save the people, in a land where the simple but awesome graphics are mixed with an excellent music and voice acting. The solving-puzzles are based on the abilities and knowledge of the main character, by combining ingredients or medicines. In order to complete the game you have to find cures for illnesses and accomplish other medical requirements. A particular aspect that pleased me was the possibility of exploring the entire world areas even from the first missions, and this helped me become more familiar with the entire place, and also made my exploration easier in the next puzzles. The interaction with different people contribute to favorable results and influences the process of completing the tasks.Oh, I forgot to mention about the hilarious manual, a parody with instructions named " The Modern Day Book of Health and Hygiene ". I won't tell more, just try this creative game !
